Blackwatch: Field Medications

Blackwatch medications fall into four groups, according to what the situation demands: keeping an operator working, keeping a wounded operator moving, keeping a dying one alive, and answering a specific environmental or hostile threat.

Operational Performance

Vigilax — Long-duration wakefulness agent. Keeps an operator alert and focused during extended missions, surveillance, or operations spanning normal sleep cycles.

Myostim — Short-term neuromuscular enhancer. Temporarily improves strength, coordination, and physical output when fatigue is becoming limiting.

Aerovex — Improves oxygen uptake and utilization during extreme exertion, hypoxia, damaged life-support conditions, or low-oxygen environments.

Metaboost — Extends metabolic reserves and delays exhaustion when food, rest, or normal recovery are unavailable.

Tricordrazine — Strong stimulant used for severe fatigue, reduced responsiveness, or when an operator needs to remain functional despite exhaustion.

Wounded but Must Continue

Sustain — Blackwatch emergency operational enhancer. Suppresses severe pain, supports circulation, boosts alertness, and temporarily increases physical capability so a badly injured operator can remain mobile and functional. Does not heal the injury.

Nocirel — Powerful non-sedating analgesic. Controls severe pain while preserving mental clarity and coordination.

Traumazine — Broad trauma stabilizer that helps manage shock, inflammation, and metabolic stress after serious injury.

Cordrazine — Emergency stimulant for severe physiological collapse or dangerously reduced responsiveness. More of a desperation drug than a routine performance aid.

Keep Them Alive

Inaprovaline — Emergency cardiovascular and physiological stabilizer used when a casualty is crashing.

Vascorel — Advanced vasopressor and perfusion drug. Helps maintain blood pressure and preserve circulation to the brain, heart, and vital organs during major blood loss or shock.

Hemostatin-X — Rapid clot-stabilizing drug used to reduce uncontrolled hemorrhage.

Cryostabil — Slows metabolic deterioration in a critically wounded casualty when extraction or proper treatment will be delayed.

Traumazine — Also fits here, because it can help stabilize a casualty before definitive care.

Special Threats and Environmental Countermeasures

Hyronalin — Established radiation-treatment drug. Used for significant radiation exposure.

RadGuard — Preventive radiation-protection drug given before entering a known irradiated environment.

Neuroshield — Protects against neurological toxins, interrogation compounds, neural disruptors, and similar hostile agents.

Toxiban — Broad-spectrum emergency antidote for unidentified toxins until the exact agent can be determined.

Vestibrax — Controls severe vertigo and disorientation from explosions, unusual gravity, transporter effects, or neurological disruption while keeping the operator functional.

Neurocalm — Suppresses dangerous tremors, acute autonomic reactions, or extreme physiological panic responses without heavily sedating the operator.
