Personality & Overview
Measured, dry, and quietly formidable. Vance says less than she knows and watches more than she lets on. She can be warm with officers who earn it, but the warmth is always underpinned by a hard, practical assessment of whether they are up to the job. She does not waste words, does not repeat herself, and does not hand out commands to people she has not already decided are worthy of them.
Personal History
A career officer with decades of service, much of it on the Federation's tense and contested frontiers. She rose through operational and command postings before taking flag rank and the sector command at Starbase 234, where she now oversees the Neutral Zone patrol region and the ships assigned to hold it, including the USS Rubicon.
