Jessica made note of their back and forth, wondering about the team structure or if anything needed changed. However she also knew at the moment that team assignments could change at any time and the Captain was still going through personnel files. She put it out of her mind before speaking next "Starfield, Cinder. Mornings are fine with me too, otherwise I'm up in the intelligence suite all night continuing to fill shifts listening to the Romulan front. I also prefer my individual drills for the evening, it helps me wind down and allows me to focus on where I need to improve without having to drag others through what they already know. As far as the doctrine, we both have a good feel for it and understand what we are getting into. I also saw this morning a schedule update, it looks like the Captain is holding the initial ceremony for the signings and oath since we all need to go through the process. I have also completed my eval successfully Sir. We're mainly just waiting on the Captain's final approval before being active."

"Great! that means I will be putting in some hours tonight. The only other thing I have for everyone is an invite to check out Blackwatch's newest ship and pilot. The Vighross is purpose built for this region of space to blend in with the background radiation. Ensign Jaxom Dane, callsign Joker is a recent OCS graduate. He acquired his practical experience prior to his formal education I'll let him tell you about that. Check out the ship, let me know what we can do to improve it." Starfield sent them Joker's dossier.

"If there is any other business, the floor is yours."

Jessica looked over at Marn, whom simply looked back "I have nothing Chief, thank you."

Taking that as a queue, she turned back to address everyone as a group "I have been taking some time to conduct tactical movements and training with other members in Blackwatch. We never know who we may be getting paired with or what teams may go on a mission with. So in your spare time if you can, I would encourage everyone to do so. I know Prophet is quite fond of training on his own, but the more variables the better. I am primarily stating this because while I do meet the tactical qualifications for this role, I have been focusing on improving them quite a bit. It'll be interesting to see how things start shaking out in team drills, but I have been looking forward to it. And if anyone has any questions about the Romulans in this region feel free to ask."

Marn sat back in his chair for a moment, not necessarily annoyed for being put on the spot, but more considering her words. The one mission that had stuck in the back of his mind from a couple of years ago had certainly put him into a very focused place of self improvement. However that wasn't going to allow him more rounded and appropriate growth in his role. Statistics would argue otherwise, so he made a note of it to himself.

"Sign me up," Starfield said, he relished the chance to be the student again.

"I have reagents waiting for me in the chemistry lab, I'm working on a an oxygenated gel so the thermite breaching wire will work in space. But I will keep you up to date, Firefly" Cinder said looking at her schedule.

"If that is all, thank you for you time, I'll see tomorrow morning."

"I'll look to schedule some time with you then Sir" Jessica replied. "We should be able to utilize one of the intelligence suites, so I'll get that setup."

Marn stood up "I look forward to the coffee, so far the best on the ship is the port side replicator in Blackwatch's mess hall. We'll see if you can beat it Starfield." He walked out giving Jessica a nod and then looked to his newest teammate and leader. "Sir, Chief." The doors opened and hissed closed behind him.

"Never one to waste time..." Jessica trailed. "I suppose I should let you two finish settling in and getting the lay of the land. If either of you need anything just reach out. Otherwise have fun getting acquainted with everything."

A moment later she followed suit, and the doors shut behind her as well.

"I think that was the most excited I have ever seen a Zakdorn is all my years. He was practically jumping up and down," Starfield smiled at Cinder

"I'm very comfortable with this so far, everyone is professional with a sense of humor," Cinder commented.

"Oh yes just wait till they meet Joker, he's got a little more levity than he needs, but on the job he's an Ensign. Professional. I asked him to oversee the outfit of the Vighross tomorrow before his evaluation, I need him to get into the mindset that he can have a long day, and still get mission details an hour before skids up"

"Good that'll give me time to get in the sim before eval and stock the transports with chems"

"Sounds like we all have our work to get to. Welcome to the team Cinder," Khalil said putting out his hand to shake.

"Thank you Starfield, It's truly great to be here" Kaelen shook Khalil's hand as if for the first time.
